Benzac 50 mg/g gel 40 g está indicado para los síntomas del acné.

¿Qué es y para qué se utiliza Benzac 50 mg/g gel 40 g?

Benzac 50 mg/g gel 40 g es un antiacneico. Antibacteriano tópico, también es queratolítico y antiseborreico, contrarrestando la hiperqueratización y el exceso de secreción de sebo asociada al acné.

Composición Benzac 50 mg/g gel 40 g:

  • Principio activo: Peróxido de benzoilo.

  • Excipientes: Carbómero 940, edetato de disodio, polaxámero 182, dioctil sulfosuccinato sódico, silicona coloidal anhidro, propilenglicol (E-1520), glicerol (E-422), copolímero de acrilatos, hidróxido de sodio y agua purificada.

Modo de empleo.

Después de limpiar la piel suavemente con agua y secarla, aplicar una fina capa de Benzac gel sobre las áreas afectadas, 1 o 2 veces al día. Posteriormente, lávese las manos y cierre bien el tubo. En pacientes con piel sensible, se aconseja iniciar el tratamiento con una aplicación al día.

Generalmente puede observarse mejoría después de 4-6 semanas de tratamiento. Sin embargo, podría precisarse un uso más prolongado.

Consejo farmacéutico

Si sufre irritación persistente cuando utiliza Benzac gel, contacte con su médico. Puede que se le indique aplicar un producto hidratante, utilizar el gel con menor frecuencia, dejar de usarlo por un periodo corto de tiempo, o dejar de usarlo del todo.

Peróxido de benzoilo puede causar hinchazón y aparición de ampollas en la piel, si cualquiera de estos síntomas ocurren, debe discontinuarse la medicación.
